Chartered in 1973, Zonta Club of the Joliet Area meets monthly for dinner and networking. The group, which currently has over 70 members, usually hosts a speaker who shares insights on how members can improve the community and themselves. Zonta Club of the Joliet Area is an active service organization. See "Service Projects" for more information on how Zonta helps various groups in the Joliet area.
Zonta gives members the opportunity to serve. It's a chance to give back to the community that made it possible for members to be successful in their careers. Zontians also have the opportunity to meet and work with people who share common goals. In the process, many members make lifelong friends.
